Thx for the review!

That's amazing

How you turned one of Mario's songs. Into this.
You are truly talented. I hope you do more.

This is the best Mario song in NG!

This song is so awesome and if you can spice it up just a little more up I will be amazed. All you have to do is make it a little longer then it will be totally awesome. Just to think if this song got better it would be the best thing on NewGrounds. I will love to see more of your work on Mario. If you will continue to do audio.

newskies responds:

thanks, but please check out the improved version!!!

I have to agree. About this song.

I've listened to music all the time so I now when I've got someone special. Really great job you should be proud. I hope that you will further write songs as good as this one. To think of something this magnificent you must of had a briliant spark. What was the cause? Thats what I will need to know. Why did you write this? What gave you the idea? Can you lend any secrets to me? That's all I need to know. I hope that your skills will increase. Mabey one day you will be famouse for your music on NewGrounds. I am glad I did not pass this song by on the list. I was lucky to ever listen to it. Please do your best to make more.

One of soon to be many fans, Kevan

Hey, thanks for the review Keven!!! I don't get too many full one's like that. XD Lol, the spark, eh? Well, I sat down at the computer and went, "Hey, I wonder if I can make a dancey-sounding song," and this is what I got within a few hours. Some secrets to lend you. Well, the one I say most is just keep workin' hard at what it is you want, the first few attempts may suck, (believe me I know), but they can only improve. The other thing I can say is always keep your ears open. Just listen to the world and inspiration can come from anywhere. Music really is omnipresent and can be heard in everything. Most of all though is practice, play, learn. If you really love music like I do you'll want to learn about it, continue your knowledge base on what it is you care about and it can only help. I'm goin' to college for music education and hopefully becoming a music teacher/director of sorts so I try to know and learn as much about music as possible. Anywho, there are some of my "secrets" for you. Hope it helps. ^_^ Thanks again Kev!

I'm sorry for you.

I am sorry for what happened this song really makes its point. It's so sad it makes me want to cry after reading what you have wrote. Truly how you've used the song and what you wrote down is a magnificent combo. I dont like death's but we all have to sooner or later its part of life. What you are going through must be hard. I know I've been through this but anyways its better than anything I've heard.

Sencerly, Sorry..........Kevan

Great.

This is weird...IN THE BEST WAY!

This sounds like metal, with a little techno, and with alot of spazz. I like it. I see why you called it metal. So the sound is great. The music is awesome. The beat is teriffic. The rythem is totally cool.

Nice work putting this together
I hope to see more in the
future.

newskies responds:

thank you very much!

Nice mix

You've done well on this I see.
You better be doing more.
I wanna see the new stuff you'll have
to show me.

I found the time.

So what made you want to use drums out of all the instruments?

Besides that question I have lots of time.
The drums really set in the mood. Like it's a chase
running sceane you really know how to set the mood,
and change the flow. Ohh and one more question.
Why was it named the Fighting Drums?

DylanGlow responds:

Hey Keven! It's nice to have someone take such an interest in my music! ^_^ I'd be glad to answer your questions! I've decided that I wanted to lay down a drum beat for this particular city in the game I'm making. Picture it as an old fashioned imperial city with guards dressed in solid gold armor and spears planted on the ground aimed towards the heavens and a large building stands towering behind them. It's the background music that carries the flow of the city. ^_^ I hope. XD I named it Fighting Drums because it's got that sense of constant war when you think of an imperial area or anything involving an emperor or a king in the old times. Also there are a lot of drums so I decided to put the word "drums" in the title as well. XD Hope that answered your questions! Thanks a bunch Keven!! ^_^
